"V" is for visitors

Well, I have a lot to catch up on. We will start with some photos of when my aunt, Cathy, and cousin, Meryl, came to visit us in London.

Well, no, they came to London so they could sail home on a fancy cruise liner and swan around wearing ball gowns, but since they were there anyway, we met up. Lucky them, because my mother and grandmother are, I hear, ever so slightly jealous.

We went to visit them at their hotel, where Alexander freaked out and burst into tears, but after a few minutes of clinging to mommy's finger with a circulation depleting grip, he relaxed and went over for a visit. We then took the Tube back to my neighbourhood, where we lunched in a local pub and then went home for Alexander's nap and more catching up.

We traipsed around in the misty London weather for the rest of the afternoon and evening, and had dinner somewhere in the West End. Alexander sat happily in the high chair that was provided (as opposed to on the table, the way he did at the pub during lunch) and ate my pizza crust. Other than chucking his water bottle at some older women having some kind of hen night, he behaved rather well.
