"N" is for No, Not really dead, just busy

Sorry I've been so slack about posting things here.  Between the buildup to Christmas, the travel, finding out about the Poland move, Alexander catching the Stomach Bug of Doom and then coming to Poland, I just haven't had the energy to sit down and make posts out of our photos.

Truth be told, there aren't even that many photos and most of you have probably seen them on Flickr already. 

Also, I think it's time to make some decisions about the blog itself. I'd planned for it to be a 1 year thing, sort of a baby book I could print out for Alexander. It morphed into something else I think, more of me musing about our life and travels, and I know that I'm not going to get around to editing it into shape for a book. I've been using his naps to create a picture book for him which will serve the purpose for which this was intended.

I don't think the blog should continue on as Alexander's blog, mainly because as his 1 year birthday approaches, I am finally admitting that he won't be an only child and that we'll begin this whole process again sometime in the next year. I don't want to maintain two blogs for two kids, so I think this will become a family blog, not just about Alexander. Probably it will be mostly about him with a bit about moving and adjusting to Poland until I have pregnancy woes or fertility issues to bitch about; basically, there will be a slight shift of focus from him to our family in general.

If anyone objects, speak now, and please offer other ideas. If anyone has a suggestion for a new title, that would be nice as well. I think I'll leave the address the same, so we have the history, but the title should no longer be Alexander specific. I will make the change this week, as he turns one on Wednesday. Now I will go and use the rest of this nap to try and get us up to date with Christmas photos, illness photos and Poland.
