"G" is for giving up...for now

Okay you all, I am throwing the towel in. I seem to have the energy for uploading things to Flickr, and for making comments on them, but not for blogging. It actually takes a fair bit of planning to come up with ideas for what to blog about and to take the right photos, e.g., this is blog-worthy, wherethefuck is my camera? or to sort through the random photos and see how I can make something cohesive out of them. Add that to the random internet outages we have here in Poland, which make uploading photos sort of dicey...it is just not fun at the moment.

Since this was never meant to be a source of guilt, which is what it's become, I'm letting it officially languish. It's like that gym membership, that you pay for because you think the money spent will be an impetus to go, but actually it just makes you feel even worse when you stay home and eat pizza and nutella instead. Not, ehem, that I've ever done that.

Anyway, I may come back to this. I'm not shutting it down. In the event of something I have a lot to say about, or a shocking influx of free time into my life (that I'm not using to read or sleep) I'll be back. But I just feel like it's fair to say that there isn't likely to be anything up here for a while.

Okay, that's a lie. He had a meeting and he'll be home Saturday morning, but I claim the right to be bitter and drink too much wine whilst playing Nintendo. So there.
