"B" is for balcony

The balcony off of our bedrooms gets direct sunlight in the mornings, is sheltered from the wind, and looks out over the park and sea, so it's a great place to sit in the mornings.

I've been having my morning coffee there while Alexander takes his first nap of the day (9-10/10.30 still) and some days it's been warm enough to wear a bikini top or tank top.

Yesterday Goran and I were both out there when Alexander woke up and it was too nice to go in and give him his snack, so we brought him out with us. We even got him dressed for the day's outing out there while he was eating.

One nice thing is that with the baby gate up on his bedroom door and our bedroom door closed, we can open up the doors to the balcony and let him go free. Both bedrooms are baby safe and the balcony is too (with the exception of the fact that he can chuck stuff over the edge into the garden below) so he can have the run of two rooms while we/I sit in the sun. All in all, not a bad set-up.
