"J" is for jumping

Jumping is supposed to be good for the leg muscles. Right? So I can pretend that this is really for exercise, and physical development, and not just really, really, really amusing for mommy.

He seems to really like it and while he doesn't exactly jump quite yet, he twirls around and does this little hopping thing that slays me every time.
There are two problems with it, however. One is that despite the package saying it's good for up to 12 kilos of baby, the harness is already sort of tight. I have peel him out of it. He's not a particularly fat baby either, and if it's like that at just over 7 kilos, I'm thinking we're not going to get much use out of it. The other problem is that it hangs from the door frame, see?

We don't have door frames. We just have ultra-sleek, modern frosted glass that slides into the wall. My engineer husband assured me, prior to the purchase, that he'd rig something up. We.Shall.See. The lamp that I brought over from China four years ago, which just needed "some minor rewiring, I'll fix it after we move" is still sitting, unusable, in my living room.
So, I can't promise any more pictures of Alexander enjoying his bouncy apparatus. Enjoy these!
