I know babies are supposed to like the tags on their toys. This is why they make those little blankets with tags all around them. In fact, this is why a friend bought one for Alexander. He likes it rather a lot, so I should not have been so amused by what he did when he encountered the coverless boppy (the boppy is a nursing positioning pillow, and its cover was off having bath after being puked on). See those tags? He did too...
All the toys in the basket behind him, yet he persisted in flopping over and trying to ingest the tags. Not that I want to encourage crawling as of yet (please no!) but just out of curiosity, I plopped him on his belly with the tags just tantalizingly out of reach. He can't crawl. Not anywhere near. But he can flop around a lot and make a LOT of noise.
