For that reason, I'll focus on the good. We had to get up early, but it was very quiet and peaceful getting to the airport, and the light dusting of snow was a nice send-off for a semi-tropical holiday.
Copenhagen is a good place to wait, if you have to wait. Alexander got to play a bit, and we got to wait in the lounge, where we camped out in a semi-private room and he napped on the floor.
SAS provides great baby bassinets that hook into the bulkhead. Alexander kept to his napping schedule and went to sleep every two hours.
This enabled me to have a bloody mary, and then a glass of wine with dinner and watch part of a movie before he woke up. When he was awake, Goran stretched his legs out to block the way to the aisle, and A could walk around and play on the floor in front of our seats. All in all, the best way to go.
And now I'm out of nice things to say about the trip over. We took no photos on the way back, because the novelty had long worn off, and we were all exhausted.
