"A" is for airplane

I still don't have photos from the first overnight trip, but we'll jump right ahead to Alexander's first trip on an airplane. On the 30th of April, we went to Sweden for a long weekend, and he did wonderfully. I fed him a bit in the lounge before we left, so that he'd be in a good mood during all the bumping and jostling while boarding, and then started feeding him again as soon as the plane began to taxi. He ate happily until we had been in the air for a while and then I passed him over to Goran, who entertained him with some toys I'd packed.
When he got cranky again, I put him back on the boob and he nursed to sleep. In the end, we were the last ones off the plane because I was so slow getting ready--he was still sleeping and I was trying not to wake him.
He was equally good on the way back, and slept for the whole middle section of the flight. That was a longer one (1.5 hours rather than 45 min) since we were on a little propeller plane, and we didn't bother with any photos.
In fact, the only problem we ran into with the travel was to do with me. I've been using Krave as my last name but haven't actually changed it in my passport. Goran booked my tickets under our shared name, and the Estonians didn't notice when we flew to Sweden, and clearly we'd not thought of it either, but at Arlanda they wanted us to buy a new ticket for me so my name would match the one in my passport. It was highly annoying, and thankfully they decided to just change it in the computer or something, because we escaped paying a fee.
All in all, not a bad trip. More posts and photos of the other things we did will follow, I just have to schedule the blogging in with all the laundry and neglected housework. If I don't get this place together before we leave for London, I don't think I'll be able to face it at all when we come home!
