"B" is for big boys

I think it's hard to gauge the growth of your own child, especially if you don't have other kids to compare him to.

Sure, I have some concrete numbers (51cm at birth to 74 at last check), but honestly the thing that makes me realize he is getting bigger is Spaniel. We used to think she was such a small doggy. Then we brought Alexander home and we both commented on how Spaniel was such a massive beast compared to our tiny little baby. Now they weigh about the same and she is starting to look small again to me.

In fact, I've started to think Alexander is kind of big. I push him around in his stroller and realize that it's very common for other babies to be smaller than him now. We saw a newborn in the bakery on Sunday and I swear the thing was the size of one of Alexander's legs.

But then one of my old friends came over for the day, and brought her two sons (3 and 1), and I realized how small Alexander still is!
