"H" is for Holland Park

We are a, oh, 10 min walk from Holland Park, which I was told is "infested" with mums and babies. So we went over there on Wednesday. An infestation there was not. I think there were three other kids there, and the only one near Alexander's age (that is, not running around and swinging on the monkey bars) was Korean and spoke no English. Nor did his caregiver, which is more of the point, if you ask me!But Alexander still had a grand ole time walking around while holding onto the various pieces of play equipment. He "walked" on three different climbing things made of rope and pipe, went on a baby swing, went on a sort of see-saw thing, and then mommy got really bored so we left.
On the walk through the more wild, less landscaped section of the park, we were graced with a visit by one of the resident peacocks. Alexander was suitably fascinated. I wish I could have gotten his face in the shot, but I didn't want to scare off the peacock.
